It usually follows suit that someone who gains instant celebrity status, usually becomes an instant fashion icon and that appears to be what has happened with Kate Middleton, or as called by her 'new' royal name...Catherine Duchess of Cambridge. She's in the spotlight today because the tabloids have been making note of the fact that her wardrobe is less than colorful. To see if this was in fact true, I went back and checked some reputable sources and the verdict is in that this is in fact 'truth'! Where's the color Kate? Why so drab? She's gorgeous, thin & Prince William's new bride but she needs to up her game because lately, she's definitely been lacking in the wow factor in regards to the ensembles she chooses for events in which she's under the watchful eye of the paps. It's time to get your swag back on Kate, you're too young for the drab neutrals you've been choosing as of late!...
Perhaps since gaining royalty status, you want to divert us from this image? Not gonna happen, we know that you're no modest mouse girlfriend!

Speculations On Who's Designing 'The Dress'
Anyone who's interested in fashion is waiting on the edge of their seats to see who & what the 'Princess to be' Kate Middleton will be wearing when she walks down the isle tomorrow at Westminster Abbey, and you better believe they will be expecting it to be just as gorgeous, if not better than the one wore by her late mother in law, Diana the Princess of Wales when she married Prince Charles at the St. Paul's Cathedral in 1981...
The late Princess Diana wore a wedding gown designed especially for her by Elizabeth Emanual that was quite modest with big poufy sleeves and the traditional long train. I absolutely respected & admired Diana who was known for being 'the people's Princess' and a true humanitarian as well however, I have always thought this dress was too 80's! All that poof gave the illusion that she was going to get lost in all of that dress! She was delicate and elegant and the dress was quite the opposite don't you think?
Prince Charles's mother, Queen Elizabeth II royal wedding gown was designed by Norman Hartnell, master of the royal wardrobes. He said he was inspired by Botticelli's Primavera to design for her the satin gown that was embellished with 10,000 tiny pearls and a 15 food train.
It has been being said that Kate Middleton's wedding dress designer is currently one of the 'best kept secrets' around town, however there is speculations circulating according to reports in British tabloids that 'the chosen one' is Sarah Burton, creative director of the late Alexander McQueen.
Hard to believe this info has leaked out...guess we will have to just wait and see. Now the big big question remains..."Will Kate be inspired to fashion her style after past British Royals or will she dare to step outside the realm to be a more contemporary trendsetter?" The bets are on!

The Royal Wedding - Kate Middleton & Prince William
I had no idea that Prince William's fiance Kate Middleton had previously been a model and after finding out this info, I went and Googled in search of pics and found what's referred to as being a scandalous (for a soon to be Princess) shot of her strutting the cat walk in a see through dress, at a college fashion show. The dress was designed by newbee Charlotte Todd in 2002.
Kate is quite a fashionista and obviously has a fondness for hats with a vintage flair which suits her quite well being that the average woman would not be seen in public wearing one of these without getting a 'double take'

The ring is absolutely gorgeous and the fact that it belonged to Diana, Princess of Wales makes it priceless on top of everything!
I've noticed she has a penchant for cropped jackets which are totally in style for Spring 2011...
More than being interested in all the Royal hoopla, I am waiting to see what and who she chose to wear when she makes her way down the aisle!
